I just spent the past 24 hours in Montreal, Quebec! Here are my recs:
What to Wear in Montreal, Quebec

Things To Do
-Walk around Old Montreal , Rue Saint-Paul, & Notre-Dame Basilica. There’s a bunch of cute shops and restaurants along the street!

-Walk around Old Port – see the observation wheel , zip line, and shops.

-Walk around Dorchester Square- we grabbed coffee from Cafe Olimpico and walked around this square it was so cute.

-Walk around Chinatown.
Overall, there’s a lot of walking! Also there is cobblestone streets in Old Port, so make sure to wear comfortable sneakers.

Adidas were super popular there- I love this pair.

I also wore my trendy new balances that were perfect for a ton of walking.
Where to Eat / Drink
-Rooftop drinks at Perché- the view is perfect of Old Montreal

-Cafe Olimpico- for coffee is a must

-Drogheria Fine – $5 gnocchi is so good. Comes in cute to-go boxes, the line was long but went quick!

-Capisco- The bartender at the smallest bar recommended this restaurant to us for drinks. Make sure to get the ceviche app too!

-El Pequeño Bar- Known as the “smallest bar”. We stumbled upon this place walking around Old Montreal and the drinks were so good! You just go up to the bartender and tell him what drinks you like and he will surprise you.
-Cafe Desserts ETC.- we got a few desserts from here and they were all SOO GOOD!
Must haves in Montreal
“Must haves” that are popular in Montreal are beavertails (we got one in old Montreal), poutine, and bagels. We tried to go to Fairmont Bagels because we heard it was one of the must try’s (next door to Drogheria Fine) but the line was sooo long. We are definitely going to try it when we come back next time!

Where to Stay
We stayed at the Fairmont Copley Plaza . The location was good and walkable. There’s also a cute restaurant in the hotel that was very aesthetic. But the valet took forever when checking out so plan ahead if you are going to be there for a long weekend!
