Skincare is something I really didn’t realize the importance of until this past year. I’m turning 27 next month and starting to see wrinkles (UGH) and my college tanning bed obsession catch up with me.
A lot of people say Botox is the only thing that fixes wrinkles BUT to be honest I’m kind of scared of it! Also, I really don’t want to pay the price for it. Below I’m listing my favorite skincare drugstore products that I’ve been loving to decrease wrinkles/aging, get rid of sun spots and pigmentation and hydrate my skin in the process.
Eye cream
I started using this eye cream a month or so ago and absolutely love it. Eye cream isn’t something that I realized I needed but your eyes are something that definitely need attention. I love how this one is full of hydrologic acid to hydrate under my eyes.
Under-Eye patches
I love using these under-eye recovery patches after a long weekend. They’re super hydrating and only $9!
Body exfoliator
I realized I really should be exfoliating when I started using a tanning mouse weekly. Exfoliating is an important to get rid of dead skin and leftover tan so your tan goes on smooth. I love using this one here and also love this one that smells so yummy.
Face exfoliator
I typically don’t use the same products on my face that I use on my body. This is usually because I don’t want my face to break out or have some type of reaction. Face exfoliator is no exception! I use it for the same reason as body exfoliator, to get rid of dead skin, help new skin grow and clean out your pores. This face exfoliator is my favorite one.
Vitamin c
This vitamin c is one of my newest products added to my skincare routine. Basically, vitamin c is the holy grail skin product. It helps smooth your skin, fades dark and sunspots, and products collagen to reduce wrinkles. I love this under $20 one I got from amazon prime. I mean, it has 400 5 star reviews!
Retinol serum
Another product that should really be in your skincare routine is retinol. I love this one that helps stimulate collagen productions, smooths lines and wrinkles and blurs acne and sunspots. I love this drugstore retinol serum because it’s not drying and I can definitely see a decrease in my wrinkles.
Face Moisturizer
Moisturizer is something I’ve always struggled with because I have combo skin- which means it’s usually dry during the winter but becomes oily after putting on moisturizer and get worse throughout the day. I’ve tried MANY high-end expensive moisturizers but have been swearing by this drugstore face moisturizer for almost 2 years now. It contains a ton of hydrologic acid which is exactly what your face needs and never makes my face feel greasy or oily, even in the summer.
Body Moisturizer
I’m absolutely obsessed with this body moisturizer because it’s a spray and not sticky. I’m always cold getting out of the shower and dread putting on lotion. This one glides on super easy and is extremely hydrating.
Toner
I hopped on the bandwagon with this https://rstyle.me/n/df55pnchujfsuper popular drugstore toner. I love it! It doesn’t dry out my skin and gets rid of all my access makeup that doesn’t fully come off with my makeup remover wipes or cleansing water.
Cleansing water
Another one of my absolute favorite products I swear by is this cleansing water. I love how this is a two-in one product. It’s face cleaner and also a makeup remover! I use these pads to apply to my face. A little goes a long way so this stuff lasts forever.
Makeup wipes
Before discovering the cleansing water I now use, I used these makeup wipes. I still buy them to use for when I’m traveling. They are gentle to your skin and don’t sting your eyes when removing your eye makeup, which I feel like is a problem with so many makeup removers! Also it doesn’t make my face breakout or oily at all. (
Pore mask
If you follow me on Instagram, you know I love this amazon prime pore mask. It’s such a good dupe (even better IMO) to the glam glow mud mask. You can actually feel your face pulsating and can tell it’s working to remove all that yunky gunk and tighten and shrink your pores.
Ice roller
Working a 9-5 job on the computer and blogging in my free time, I’ve been getting really bad headaches. This ice roller has been a lifesaver to decrease those.
Oil blotting pads
When I’m wearing makeup, my face tends to get oily, especially during the summer. These oil blotting pads are one of my favorite drugstore skincare products because my makeup still stays fresh after applying them to my face.
Dry shampoo
I’ve tried many dry shampoos, and this one is my absolute favorite! It doesn’t give you that almost sticky hard clumpy feeling in your hair.
I hope you loved this drugstore skincare products that actually work round up! If you love affordable makeup, check out my blog on drugstore makeup dupes under $8.
