I wish I was blessed at birth with long eyelashes but I definitely wasn’t! And while I’ve found some really great magnetic eyelashes, I can’t figure out for the life of me how to get them to stick and just don’t have the time daily, TBH. Eyelash extensions has also been something I’ve considered but haven’t looked into because of the cost.
I came to the conclusion I’d just live with having small eyelashes and accept my fate, but then back in January I shared on Instagram that my eyelashes started falling out. And it wasn’t just some casually falling out, they were falling out in very noticeable clumps.
Panicking, I did a bunch of research (still don’t know why they fell out) and purchased this serum which had a hundreds of positive reviews and I was praying that it worked. If you also have been following me for a while, you know affordable finds are my JAM. I found this serum on sale for 50% off here, and decided to try it out. This stuff is never on sale and it’s semi pricey, so I figured let’s give it a shot.
Disclaimer: I feel like everyone always says this, but this was not sponsored at all (I typically never do sponsored posts) because I want to be 100% truthful when trying out new products!

Like I mentioned above, I’ve never have had long eyelashes and always envied everyone else who was blessed with them! I’ve tried glue and magnetic eyelashes but can’t get the hang of them. If you can do them, these magnetic ones are amazing!

Just ignore my skin here – I was trying out a new drugstore Retnoil everyone raves about and my skin did NOT like it… But my eyelashes started MAJORLY falling out so I knew I had to do something about it.
January 25 (mascara)

I started using this serum that everyone raves above. I first started using it once a day (before bed) but then increased it to twice a day (once in the morning and once at night). The product claims you see results after 3-5 weeks, but I read online that it takes a month+ to see legit results.

Changed my mascara to this $5 mascara and started using this vitamin primer while continuing to use the serum.

This is a still from a video clip lol, definitely seeing growth from the combo of products, but not where I want to be still.
April 20 (no mascara)

This is in the same lighting as I took my photos in January. My serum ran out and I purchased this $9 oil from Amazon to try it out.
I’ve been using it for about a week now (once in the morning and once at night) on both my eyebrows and my eyelashes to help grow them back. To be completely honest, it is a tiny bit messy / sticky but I shared on my Instagram highlight “LASH GROWTH” how to keep avoid those issues and an easy way to apply.
I’ll keep you guys updated on Instagram on the process and add to this blog!
